The road to the Republican presidential nomination will begin and end in Milwaukee.
Republican National Committee planners yesterday said Milwaukee will host the first presidential debate later this year. That debate is now scheduled for August, to coincide with RNC meetings in the city. Milwaukee, of course, will also host the Republican National Convention next summer. Wisconsin Republican Party boss Brian Schimming says he’s looking forward to showing-off ‘our exceptional city.’
