The Madison diocese is considering opening a sexual abuse investigation that would name the accused clergy members.
On Friday, spokesman Brent King said staff members at the Madison Diocese were starting to launch the investigation back in November. But, the unexpected death of Bishop Robert Morlino stalled the effort. King says Morlino took the abuse scandal very seriously. King’s comments come after The Green Bay Diocese revealed the names of 46 clergy members accused of sexual abuse of a minor on Thursday.
