Wisconsin Congressman Mike Gallagher is getting his China-focused committee in Washington, D.C.
The House voted yesterday to create the new Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party. The idea is to look into CCP’s economic, technological and security advancements and its competition with the United States. Gallagher has been sounding the alarm about a rising threat from China. Wisconsin’s two Democratic members of Congress, Mark Pocan and Gwen Moore, voted against the committee.
