A winter storm warning for the state remains in effect until tomorrow morning.

Today’s wind chill was expected to fall to as low as between 25- and 35-below in some parts of the state.  Temperatures are expected to gradually go back up as wind speeds come down through the weekend.  Single digit temperatures are expected on Monday.

Meanwhile, the state’s power grid continues to hold up relatively well during the winter storm.  Power outages have mostly been scattered throughout the state.  Earlier this morning, We Energies reported two-thousand customers were without power.  Most of those outages were in the southeastern part of the state and in the Fox Valley.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin Public Service reported a little more than 200 outages and Alliant Energy had just 20 customers without power.
