Preparations are underway for Eau Claire’s 133rd Silver Mine Invitational. This year’s theme is “silver mine turns gold” as the Eau Claire Ski Club is celebrating their 50th year at the Silver Mine Hill.
Crews spent yesterday distributing snow around the hill to make conditions ideal for the skiers. The two-day competition starting Friday will host 50 to 60 of the most talented ski jumpers from around the nation and world.
