Speeding leads to a 6th OWI for an Eau Claire man.
42 year old Keith C Fox has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 6th offense.
On November 26th, 2022, at approximately 1:02 am, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper initiated a traffic stop on US Highway 53 at milepost 93 northbound near Eau Claire for a speed violation. Upon contact with the vehicle and the driver, the trooper observed signs of impairment and a subsequent investigation was conducted. The driver, Keith Fox, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant 6th offense.
Mr. Fox was transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary test of his blood and then to the Eau Claire County Jail. Mr. Fox is being charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant 6th offense, possession of cocaine, operating a motor vehicle after revocation, failing to install an ignition interlock device, speeding, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
