Eau Claire’s new city budget will add 74 dollars to your tax bill.
The city council approved the new spending plan last night. It will spend 50 million-dollars next year. That includes the one-and-a-half million-dollar tax increase that voters approved back on Election Day. The city yesterday said that tax hike will mean 74 dollars more from each taxpayer next year.
