Waukesha will pause at 4:39 this afternoon to remember the one-year anniversary of the attack on last year’s Christmas Parade that left six people dead and dozens more injured.
Today marks one year since Darrell Brooks Jr. plowed through the crowd. There will be a ceremony in Cutler Park. Leaders in Waukesha say it is important to remember what happened last year, as the community continues to try and heal. After today, the next step will be this year’s Waukesha Christmas Parade. That’s set for December 4th.
