The road signs near and on the Menominee Reservation in northern Wisconsin are getting an update.
Governor Evers joined tribal leaders yesterday in unveiling new dual-language road signs. The signs are both in English and in the Menominee language. Menominee Chairman Ron Corn says the new signs are the latest example of how Wisconsin recognizes and respects its tribes. The dual-language signs first appeared last year, and will likely be added in other tribal communities as well.
