There are new questions to answer about last month’s fire at an apartment in Hartland that left a family of six dead.
The Waukesha County Medical Examiner’s Office yesterday said the mother who died in the fire also had a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigators quickly last month said that the dad, Connor McKisick, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The M.E. now says the mom, Jessica McKisick, also took her own life. They are basing that on both the physical evidence and messages found on the two’s phones. Four of their children died in the October 21st fire.
