Eau Claire schools are boosting pay for substitute teachers.
The city’s school board last night approved 20 dollar per-day raises for subs. The bump will take subs from 140 dollars per-day to 160 dollars per-day. That is more than both Chippewa Falls and Altoona pay. Eau Claire schools also approved a 38 cent per-hour raise for special education assistants, that takes them to 16-38 per-hour.
