The father of the little girl killed in a crash in far northern Wisconsin last summer is now suing the state lawmaker who was involved.
The father of five-year-old Khaleesi Fink filed the suit in Ashland County last week. He accuses state Senator Janet Bewley of being distracted when she pulled out in front of the car his daughter was in back in July. Police say the little girl died in the crash, her mother later died at the hospital. The lawsuit also accuses the girl’s mother of negligence and names her in the suit. Bewley didn’t comment on the lawsuit.
