There are new details about a hit-and-run in Beaver Dam.
Police say the suspect, 17-year-old Dylan Lenz, tried to kill a 17-year-old girl he’d just met online. Investigators say Lentz drove the girl to the local Goodwill parking lot Saturday night, stabbed her with a box cutter, and ran her down in his SIV after she managed to escape. She’s now fighting for her life. He’s in jail and looking at attempted homicide charges. Police say Lentz told them his mental health was “off” and that he’d been having recent thoughts of killing someone.
