The Waukesha Christmas Parade trial started with an apology and ended with a string of witnesses telling the jury that Darrell Brooks Jr. ran through the parade last November.
Brooks, who showed-up in court in a suit and tie, started the day by apologizing to the judge for his behavior last week. He said the trial has been very emotional. Brooks was sent to a different courtroom every day last week because of his outbursts. Yesterday also saw the prosecution present a string of witnesses who said Brooks was behind the wheel of the red SUV that plowed through the crowd.
The prosecution is expected to end its case Thursday.
