Opening statements will start tomorrow in the Waukesha Christmas Parade trial.
They picked a jury yesterday despite another day full of disruptions from Darrell Brooks Jr. He once again spent most of the day in a separate courtroom because of his outbursts and arguments with the judge. Brooks tried to dismiss the entire jury several times yesterday. Brooks is looking at a life sentence for the death of six people during last year’s Christmas Parade. His trial is expected to take a month.
