Conference To Address Security in Our Community

Disaster Ready Chippewa Valley and Eau Claire County Emergency Management are excited to announce an upcoming public-private partnership conference in Eau Claire! You are welcome to join business, public sector, volunteer organizations, non-profit, and emergency management representatives from throughout Wisconsin in a discussion on how to make our communities more resilient.


This summit will bring in speakers for cybersecurity, supply chain resilience, and workforce continuity amongst other topics. This is a free event that will also include a national training class on business financial literacy and management for post disaster economic recovery. Wisconsin Emergency Management is the organization providing this opportunity.


“Bringing this conference to Eau Claire helps reinforce our vision for whole community involvement before, during, and after disasters” said Tyler Esh, Eau Claire County Emergency Management Coordinator and Board member for Disaster Ready Chippewa Valley. “Having a strong and resilient private sector is crucial to the recovery of our local economy following major events.”

Disaster Ready Chippewa Valley Administrator Chris Straight had this to say: “We are excited about this opportunity to partner with Wisconsin Emergency Management to bring this annual summit to our region so that local businesses and organizations can learn from the speakers and the experiences of other P3’s
throughout the State.”
