The suspect in the murder of two Shawano County brothers is expected to plead guilty by the end of the week.
Prosecutors in Johnson County, Missouri say Garland Nelson has agreed to plead guilty to killing Nicholas and Justin Diemel after a cattle deal back in 2019. Investigators say Garland killed the brothers, then either burned or hid their bodies. The Diemel brothers were missing for weeks. Garland had been facing the death penalty in the case, his guilty plea will likely help him avoid that.
