Eau Claire’s new transit hub will be more expensive and take longer to complete.
Planners yesterday said the new home for buses in the city won’t open until at least June of 2024. The hub was supposed to open in September of next year. Eau Claire economic development director Aaron White says the project has been challenging from the get-go, and continues to be challenging today.
