The University of Wisconsin at La Crosse is responding to two possible cases of monkeypox.
In a letter to students, faculty, and staff, the university says the people in question are isolating as they await their test results. There will also be an increase in cleaning and disinfecting around campus. The school added that they are working with the Student Health Center and the county health department to identify and notify any close contacts.
