The investigation into alleged fraud in the 2020 election in Wisconsin is essentially done.
Yesterday, State Assembly Speaker Robin Vos withdrew subpoenas that had ordered the Mayors of Madison, Green Bay and Racine to testify as part of the original investigation. The Vos decision unofficially concludes the election probe commissioned by Vos in 2021.
WMSN cites Madison City Attorney Mike Haas who says now “the only reasonable step” is for Vos to officially end the probe by withdrawing a lawsuit in which investigator Michael Gableman threatened to jail the mayors for not obeying his demand their testimonies be delivered behind closed doors rather than in public.
