The last house near the Foxconn development has finally sold, for nearly a million-dollars.
The Mount Pleasant village board on Monday voted to buy Kim and Jim Mahoney’s home near the development for 950 thousand-dollars. That includes just over 750 thousand-dollars for the home, and another nearly 200 thousand-dollars in relocation expenses. The Mahoney’s fought for five years to get what they say was a fair price for their home near the still-being-built Foxconn site. They were the last home in the area.
