UW-Eau Claire and UW-Stout are now part of Wisconsin’s free tuition program.
The university yesterday said the western Wisconsin campuses will take part in the Wisconsin Tuition Promise program. That means kids at Eau Claire, Stout, River Falls, and Superior will have a chance to apply for a tuition and fee scholarship. The university wants to help low and moderate income students get a degree without tuition or fee costs. Families must make under 67 thousand-dollars a year to qualify. The first round of help will be available next year.
