Leaders in Nashville yesterday rejected their city’s bid for the next Republican National Convention, leaving Milwaukee as the only choice. Democrats in Nashville objected to the cost and security concerns of bringing Republicans to town in two years. The RNC’s selection committee already chose Milwaukee, but yesterday’s vote leaves them without any other choices.
The full Republican National Committee is expected to finalize Milwaukee’s choice with a vote on Friday.
