Students who test positive for the coronavirus at UW-Madison this year will be able to stay in their dorm rooms.
The school yesterday said it is changing its quarantine policy for the upcoming school year. Last year the university moved positive students to special quarantine dorms, but that proved difficult because of the large number of positive students and the small number of quarantine rooms. Now, students will be able to stay in their dorm rooms or apartments until they are cleared to head back to class.
