The Cobban Bridge is closed as crews get ready to tear it down.
The Department of Transportation closed the bridge in Jim Falls this week. Crews will tear it down and eventually replace it with a new bridge. The demotion work is set to begin in two weeks, though it will be another year before the new bridge will be open.
