It will be probation and community service for one of the UW-Eau Claire students who threatened a ‘revolution’ last spring.
A judge yesterday sentenced 20-year-old Alexander Bartle for his role in the threat case from back in April. Bartke says he and a friend were bored and took it too far when they threatened an armed revolution targeting Republicans in Eau Claire. He made the threats on an anonymous social media app. The judge says if Bartle completes his community service, and doesn’t commit any new crimes the terror charges against him will be dismissed.
