Community Remembers Captain on Anniversary of Explosion

It was a day for remembering on the fourth anniversary of the explosion in Sun Prairie that killed Cory Barr.

Yesterday marked four years since a gas line caused an explosion downtown. Barr was a fire captain at the time, he was helping evacuate people. Fellow firefighters and Barr’s family yesterday got together to remember his life. Barr is now remembered with a statue out in front of Sun Prairie’s fire department,
