Hundreds of protesters demonstrated outside the U.S. Supreme Court yesterday to denounce the overturning of the Roe v. Wade abortion ruling.
A high fence was erected around the court in Washington, DC, where the crowd of protesters grew throughout the day. Reuters says the protesters carried signs with slogans such as “Abort SCOTUS” and “limit guns, not women.”

Across the ideological aisle, former President Trump is calling Friday’s ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade a victory for the Constitution. Trump made the comments at an Illinois rally in support of Republican Representative Mary Miller.
Trump claimed the Supreme Court ruling was partly due to him, because he nominated justices and judges who would “stand up” for the rights of the Constitution.
