City leaders in Eau Claire expect to see a second proposal for a new bottled water plant within the next year.
Economic development manager Aaron White says the company working with Niagara pulled the plan from the city council agenda this week to work on some changes. City law requires a year-long waiting period, and requires that the new plan include significant changes. Advocates in Eau Claire fought the plan, they said they’re worried it will use too much of the city’s water supply.
