There won’t be a new bottled water plant in Eau Claire.
The company looking to build a new Niagara Water plant on the city’s northwest side pulled their proposal last night. The city council was set to vote on the idea, but as that didn’t happen. As far as the future of it, some say it’s simply a kick of the can down the road to a future debate. Some advocate for the plant and economic investment it would bring to the area while others say it will be a strain on Eau Claire’s water supply.
