There is still no price tag for Eau Claire School’s possible November referendum. \
The city’s school board last night instead talked about which schools may see an upgrade if voters agree to raise taxes to pay for the costs. South Middle School is at the top of the district’s list, but Meadowview Elementary School, Putnam Heights Elementary School and North High School could all see work as well. School leaders say they’re working on a community survey to see just how much money voters in Eau Claire are willing to spend on a referendum.
