There’s a plan from a Milwaukee County supervisor and a local developer to open a Deer District-like entertainment sector outside of American Family Field.
Supervisor Peter Burgelis is pushing a resolution that he says will put the parking lots around the Brewers’ ballpark to ‘better use.’ A local developer wants to tear down State Highway 175, which is south of I-94 and build what he’s calling ‘The Beer District.’ They’re thinking of stores, bars, even apartments in the area. The Brewers aren’t commenting on the idea yet.
