The black-and-whites in Chippewa Falls are now mostly green.
Chippewa Falls Police yesterday said they bought two more hybrid police cars. That brings Chippewa Falls’ green fleet total to four out of five squad cars. Chief Matt Kelm says going hybrid will save the city money and fuel. The old squad cars got about nine-miles-to-the-gallon, the new hybrids get 19.
