Madison is named one of the best cities in the country to raise a family in.
That’s according to WalletHub, which ranks Madison ninth out of the country’s 182 largest cities. WalletHub says it used dozens of metrics to make its rankings including cost of housing, quality of schools, and quality of healthcare systems. Madison’s best category is affordibility, where it ranks fourth. WalletHub says the best city to raise a family in is Fremont, California.
