Firefighters in La Crosse were on the scene of a house fire and say family pets were lost in the blaze. Three cats didn’t make it out of a house fire yesterday.
The fire happened at a home just south of the city’s downtown. No people were hurt. A total of seven fire trucks and 18 firefighters fought the fire. There’s no word on a cause just yet.
