WI HAS NEW STATE SUPERINTENDENT
CAROLYN STANFORD TAYLOR

Assistant State Superintendent Carolyn Stanford Taylor will be Wisconsin’s next state superintendent.  Incumbent Tony Evers announced his intention to appoint her to the position next year.  He describes her as a “dedicated, thoughtful leader who puts the best interest of kids before all else.” 

Taylor will be Wisconsin’s first African-American state superintendent of public instruction. She will oversee the state’s educational system and Public Instruction Department.
