A casino is another step closer to being built in Beloit Recently the Bureau of Indian Affairs approved putting 33 acres of land in Beloit into a trust so the casino can be built.
The Ho-Chunk Nation now owns 70 acres of land in the city where it plans to build a casino with a hotel, waterpark, and restaurants. Ho-Chunk leaders say the casino will bring in thousands of jobs to the area.
