The trial for the young man accused of killing two people at the UW Arboretum back in 2020 is underway.
Prosecutors and the defense yesterday picked a jury in 20-year-old Khari Sanford’s trial. Police say he kidnapped, then murdered his then-girlfriend’s parents in March of 2020. Investigators say the murders may have started as a disagreement about COVID protocols. Opening statements are expected in the case later today.
