From the ham sandwiches to potato salad and the hat toss to future plans, it’s that time again! Graduation season. This is traditionally a time to celebrate the work and accomplishments of many students before they start the march from the stage into “The Real World.”
For this week’s Friday feel good we go to Texas where everything really IS bigger, especially the heart of a person who gave the gift of financial freedom to new grads.
An anonymous donor in Texas surprised college graduates by clearing out the entire student debt of the class.
Wiley College is a historically black college and things got pretty emotional with the news that their debt was gone. Beyond celebrating the accomplishment in the academic world, the class is able to celebrate the kindness from “The Real World” before they enter into it.
