If you’re heading out for fishing season this weekend, there are some new rules to be aware of.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has changed the rules for walleye fishing this year. DNR says fishermen can now keep a daily bag limit of three walleye between 15 and 20 inches long, or two walleye 15 to 20 inches long, and one walleye over 24 inches. DNR says the new rules are designed to protect the walleye population in the state.
