The school board president in Holmen is defending her decision to adopt a fake name and social media profile to argue with people in the community, even as she is leaving the school district.
Cheryl Hancock resigned from the Holman School Board last night. She said she didn’t commit any crimes, and said her comments under her fake profile were not harassment or bullying. Hancock was exposed last week, and many parents say her behavior was unacceptable.
Holmen Schools released a statement after Hancock’s announcement that asks for forgiveness from parents and community members.
