One of the men who wants to be Wisconsin’s next governor says he lives in the state part time.
Tim Michels said that he lives in Wisconsin at least 183 days a year in order to qualify as a Wisconsin taxpayer. The rest of the year he lives with his family in Connecticut. Michels says he could have moved back to the state years ago after completing a subway project in New York City, but says he decided to do what’s best for his family and his business and stay out east.
Michels jumped into the race for governor last week.
