Opening statements begin today in the trial of an Iowa County woman and her daughter charged in the death of a teenage girl.
Police say Laurie and Alexis Barry were taking care of 13-year-old Selah Kaden back in 2018 when she died from suffocation. An autopsy showed she also had blunt force trauma to the head. The trial is expected to last two weeks.
