Wisconsin is investigating four cases of kids with mysterious liver damage.
The state’s Department of Health Services issued a health alert on Wednesday about a ‘recent increase in cases’ of acute hepatitis and adenovirus infections in children. One of the kids who got sick required a liver transplant, another child died. Wisconsin is not alone in seeing the liver cases. Three other states have also reported mysterious illnesses there.
