Four of the five finalists for chancellor at UW-Madison are from out of state.
The university released the list of finalists yesterday. Only Madison Provost John Karl Scholz is from the UW System. All five finalists will be on campus for in-person visits next week. Regents say they hope to have a final choice by the end of next month.
