Nearly two-dozen people are being named to a new panel to address the needs of Wisconsin’s military veterans.
Those named to the state’s Blue-Ribbon Commission on Veteran Opportunity yesterday will be expected to develop a long-term, comprehensive plan to help Wisconsin vets get the help they need for a wide range of challenges. The two co-chairs of the commission are Department of Veteran Affairs Secretary Mary Kolar and Department of Administration Secretary-designee Kathy Blumenfeld. The rest of the commission appointed by Governor Tony Evers include many retired military officers and public servants.
