State lawmakers have some questions about what the Wisconsin National Guard is doing about sexual misconduct.
The legislature yesterday announced a series of summer hearings, including one on the guard’s misconduct procedures. Lawmakers say the plan is to ‘study’ the issue. The move comes after a 2019 investigation into misconduct at Madison’s Air National Guard base. That investigation led to the replacement of the base’s commander last year.
