There is a push to save the pool in Chippewa Falls. A local woman, Katie Crise, has started an online petition to save the Bernard Willi Pool.
City leaders earlier this month announced plans to close the pool for good after this summer, saying it’d cost too much to repair or replace the pool. Crise says people need a place to go and relax during the summer. She says over 900 people have signed her petition so far. She plans to deliver her petition to the city council in Chippewa Falls early next month.
