It took nearly two months to find him, and it took a few hours to get him into custody.
Milwaukee Police yesterday said they finally arrested the young man accused of shooting a Milwaukee detective in a botched carjacking in the Third Ward back in January. Police talked 19-year-old Keasean Ellis-Brown out of a home on Milwaukee’s north side yesterday afternoon. Prosecutors have already charged Ellis-Brown with attempted homicide charges. Police say he tried to steal a woman’s car in the Third Ward, then went back to attack her once he realized that he forgot his phone. That’s when a detective stepped-in and was shot.
