University of Wisconsin-Madison is extending a program aimed at helping teacher shortages in the state.
The School of Education Wisconsin Teacher Pledge will pay all teaching education students the equivalent of in-state tuition and fees if they teach at a Wisconsin school for four years. The program began in 2020 and was extended earlier this month through the 2025-2026 school year.
